Unicist Standard: A structural change in Psychology

The research on human complexes demonstrated that inferiority/superiority complexes and the Oedipus complex are a functional unit that destroys human intelligence. Complexes build the necessary fallacious “mind circuits” to drive individuals towards parallel realities and stay in them.

Complexes need addictions to produce their damage and, like cancer, they remit or die with the host.

Inferiority / Superiority complexes avoid assuming personal responsibilities and the Oedipus complex avoids assuming the responsibility for the species. This is a structural change in Psychology.

Individual complexes have their homologous syndromes in the social and institutional fields. These syndromes generate institutional failure and underdevelopment of countries.

Discovery of the unicist ontology of the Oedipus complex

This R&D e-book by Peter Belohlavek is a presentation of the obscure part of personal behavior and a solution for it.

The obscure part of individuals is very difficult to apprehend because one needs to be able to get in touch with one’s obscure part. It may provoke reaction, denial or rationalization. But it is extremely useful in the long run. Evolution implies: today better than yesterday.

Complexes are a “cancer” in the human mind. As a cancer, complexes destroy their host while they die with it. Individuals degrade when they are dominated by complexes. This can be objectively measured in the adaptation process of individuals.

Complexes remit when the individual has the courage, the will and the energy to assume a full responsibility for her/his life.

This discovery has significant consequences for individuals, institutions and cultures. It enters the most taboo aspects of human behavior.

It explains why a bright 3-year old kid becomes a 40 year-old mediocre and a 60-year old senile person. It also explains the opposite, when a person achieves wisdom.

As there is a homologous complex in the collective unconscious, it provides the groundings of why the gap between developed and developing countries is growing.

Unicist Standard: Avoiding failure of Start-up businesses

Due to the crisis that began in 2008 we have made a research of the ontological causes of the failures of start up businesses.

The objective was to provide the information of the essential aspects that need to be considered when starting businesses.

All the start up businesses we researched (15) that failed in the last year had the following ontological characteristics:

1)  They were businesses installed following the “survivor’s ethics”.
2)  Their perception of the market was fallacious (illusion and fear fallacies).
3)  They had no plan B and C to adapt to the environment.
4)  Their leading person or group hadn’t the final picture of the company working in the market.
5)  Their financial backing was not compatible with the time needed to introduce the company in the market.
6)  They had no strategic plan (although several had a hypothetical business model).
7)  Six months after their start they entered in a stagnated survivor action in the market, meaning:
a) Justifying their action based on the risk of the new business
b) Authoritarian or anarchic decisions of the leader
c) Hoping that being alive the crisis would pass
8)  They had no idea of brand-management.

We strongly recommend considering these problems as universal when launching a business.

Businesses need to work at least at the value earning ethics when they are expanding boundaries or installing in a new market.

The core aspect of growth is given by the value added to the market, and survivors do not provide it, they just imagine it.

The Unicist Logic is a breakthrough in logical thinking

The development of the Unicist Logic by Peter Belohlavek allowed integrating the preexisting logical structures to sustain fallacious free reasoning.

Maurice Blondel announced a century ago that some day a logical structure would be developed capable of integrating the preexisting logical models. That is the case of the Unicist Logic.

Logic is defined as a structure of formal rules that emulate aspects of a given reality and enable us to validate or invalidate assertions, diagnoses and forecasts about it. Out of this definition we may infer that:

1)  Logic is a formal structure that makes it possible for assertions of a given reality to be structured by formal sciences.

2)  Logic, in order to emulate reality, necessarily implies the discovery of the structure of such a reality where discretion has no added value.

3)  Different realities may have a different logic if they have different functionalities.

4)  A logical structuring originates because someone is trying to understand a certain reality so as to exert some influence upon it.

5)  The different existing logics respond to different aspects of reality seen from different functionalities.

6)  If reality is considered as a “unified field”, there is a logic that integrates the different existing logical formalizations to understand reality in an integrated way.

This allows an integrated way of thinking that makes the emulation of nature and the development of adaptive systems possible.

Wisdom is a pathway with many masters

Wisdom can be defined as the capacity of an individual to integrate idealism and realism with value adding actions.

The characteristic of individuals who achieved wisdom is that they had multiple masters that had an authoritative role in their lives. These roles are still in force and they still admire them.

Admiration and functional envy are the concepts that allow achieving wisdom. Individuals who admire others’ achievements and deeds have the opportunity to achieve wisdom, but only if they pursue the objective of adding value in an environment. Functional envy drives individuals to achieve goals.

Individuals with conflictive relations with authority can never achieve wisdom. They might be extremely erudite, extremely hard workers but they will never be able to integrate idealism and realism with a value adding attitude in their environment.

The apparent paradox of wisdom is the need of multiple masters. It is said that disciples are those learners who overcome their masters. But wisdom, defined as the space where an individual has been able to integrate idealism and realism with value adding actions, cannot be overcome. Competing with a master in a field where s/he is wise is a demonstration of the prevalence of the need to gain over the need to add value. Multiple masters make wisdom accessible.

Erudition is not analogous to wisdom; it might be different or a fallacious “version” of wisdom. Wisdom implies action while erudition does not.

Achieving wisdom cannot be a goal for a wise person; wisdom is the consequence of the action of an individual but does not cause it. It is unwise to try to achieve wisdom.

That is why wisdom is a pathway with multiple masters. Masters are ordinary or extraordinary people who have achieved wisdom in some field. Look for them while you continue adding value. To achieve it you need to abandon your modesty and expand your humbleness.  Wise people do not need to be right, just functional.
