Unicist Process Management

Unicist Turnkey Solutions for End-Users in Business

From August 2012 on, only turnkey solutions will be provided to end users in business. This implies that the unicist ontology based and objects driven technologies will be only provided to Corporate and Professional Partners. No technologies will be sold to end-users.

This implies that end-users only need to manage the operation of the business objects / business units / business processes that are installed.

The partners who participate in the development of solutions will have the Unicist Knowledge Object Manager, the Unicist Fact-book and the Centralized Quality Assurance Services available.

As the Unicist Confederation deals with the adaptive aspects of businesses, the core aspect is the definition of the actual possibilities of a business defined in its diagnoses. Therefore we recommend that you access the book on “The Unicist Standard for Ontological Business Diagnostics” at the Unicist Library:

The Unicist Critical Mass Method

The Unicist Approach requires the use of critical masses in the adaptive business processes. A Unicist Critical Mass is the smallest amount of force that is needed to generate the integration of the elements of the unified field of a human complex adaptive system to produce results.

The Unicist Critical Mass Method (UCMM) is a design process that allows integrating the business architecture with the necessary synchronicity to be able to have a critical mass to add value and take advantage of opportunities. It requires a natural object driven organization with an adequate quality assurance process.

The quality assurance process that is included in the Critical Mass Method is based on having secure knowledge, on the use of destructive and non-destructive pilot tests to define the limits and validity of the solutions and on the existence of plans A, B, C and D to ensure results.

The UCMM is a strategic approach to define the processes established by the business architecture in a way that ensures the results to be achieved.

The UCMM is included in the Unicist Standards to manage adaptive systems.

Tweetinar on the Genetic Map of Leadership

The unicist ontological structure describes what can be defined as the genome (DNA) of leadership. The knowledge of its structure and the different categories of leaders allow defining the functionality of the leadership style of an individual and how s/he complements and supplements with others.

On September, 27 the tweetinar on the DNA of Leadership will be developed at 4:00 pm New York time and led by Diana Belohlavek.
You can register here: http://twitter.com/tweetinar_en

Leadership is based on the need to sustain one’s authority. But the participation of others is a condition of leadership. A leader is such because s/he is followed. Therefore, in terms of the unicist logic, participation is the active function of leadership and the energy conservation function is given by the power a leader has to impose her/his authority.

Leadership is one of the core aspects that define success or failure when developing strategies at an individual or organizational level. Without an adequate leader, groups tend to anarchic behavior and the objectives cannot be achieved.

This research showed that every individual has a type of leadership that is functional. The awareness of one’s leadership type is useful to understand the efficacy of a group and the effectiveness of the work that is being done.

The four types of leadership: creative, constructive, authoritarian and charismatic are functional to the management of different groups in different situations. Leadership complements define their flexibility. When leaderships are not complemented they stagnate and become dysfunctional.

Why pseudo-intellectuals are opposers

Erudite people are individuals who have in their mind a notorious amount of information on one or several fields. Superficial erudite individuals, on the other hand, are individuals who consider their opinion as true information.

It has to be considered that chess-masters, having more than 100,000 positions in their minds, are not considered as erudite individuals but as “masters”.

The purpose of erudition is to build the self-esteem of the erudite individual. That is what makes the difference with the chess-masters who nurture their self-esteem based on the results they obtain when they play in real life.

There are cultures in which erudition is considered a “must”. Basically, these cultures lack self-esteem among their members. “Opinators” are their “national heroes”.

Erudition is driven by the need to accumulate information and knowledge, which becomes a functional effort to feel superior and an apparent solution to the inferiority complexes, while in fact emphasizes it.

Erudite people need to live in parallel realities where the enormous amount of information they have appears to be useful. They are intellectual fundamentalists that need to break the bridge between them and real life. We have named them pseudo-intellectuals.

That is why erudition is the anti-concept of wisdom.

Beware of erudite individuals, they will always oppose in a more or less subtle way. But if you meet them, you can help them to evolve towards wisdom. They just need to learn that:

If you feel sore, give…..
Giving you will recover

Hyperrealism in business: Organization by Results

The Unicist Hyperrealism is an approach to businesses, considering them as adaptive systems and managing their unified field with the context to ensure the results to be achieved.

Hyperrealism is necessary to approach the expansion of businesses. It requires managing the unified field of a business, the short and long term strategies and the use of the “Organization by Results” meta-model.

Organization by results is the organizational meta-model that allows upgrading businesses driving them towards a superior level.

This approach is basic to expand the boundaries of businesses and to manage the adaptive systems of companies.

It requires using business objects to ensure the adapting capacity of companies and the existence of strict operational methods as catalysts to sustain the implementation of the strategies that are designed to achieve the predefined goals.

The organization of business units, having autonomous but interdependent business platforms, is the natural organization for hyperrealism in business.

The perception of the Unified Field of Adaptive Systems

Businesses are a paradigmatic Human Complex Adaptive System that needs to be managed as a Unified Field. This is the field of complexity sciences.

Perceiving the unified field requires observing the active function, perceiving the energy conservation function, intuiting the implicit purpose and finally validating through destructive and non destructive pilot tests.

Every reality, considered as an adaptive system from a functional point of view, has a unique essential structure.

The unicist approach deals with reality considered as a unified field. This unified field is defined by the extrinsic and intrinsic concepts that have been discovered.

These unicist concepts are the unicist ontology that defines and regulates the nature of the entity that is being dealt with. This unified field is defined by a credibility zone when we deal with extrinsic concepts and by a functionality zone when dealing with intrinsic concepts.

The credibility or functionality zone behaves like a “micro-cosmos”.

Every being can be described by the three principles and functions that define it. It has a purpose, an action principle and an energy conservation principle. These three elements are integrated in its oneness considering a specific functionality in the environment.

Unicist Corporate Universities for Business Expansion

Business expansion implies going beyond the present boundaries of markets. This requires generating added value in new fields.

Building an “umbrella” of influence that includes both the existent and the new markets is the simplest way to expand businesses. “Umbrellas” are influential objects that provide a gravitational force that generates a buying attitude in new segments.

The Unicist Corporate Universities provide “drops” of conceptual knowledge that integrate the operational aspects of different segments. They have a subliminal effect to influence attitudes that can only be measured in the results.

That is why Unicist Corporate Universities need to be integrated with Market Labs to provide the necessary feed-back to ensure their results.

These Market Labs need to include information of the ontological segmentation in order to confirm or adjust the content of the Corporate Universities. The generation of buying attitudes is the core of the Unicist Corporate Universities for business expansion.

Unicist Ontological and Object Driven Business Organization

The Unicist Object Driven Organization described by Peter Belohlavek is a breakthrough that emulates the organization of nature. It integrates business objects into the business processes to increase their effectiveness. The organization by objects allows on one hand the saving of energy and, on the other hand, it provides the necessary structure to be able to integrate efficacy with efficiency increasing notoriously the results obtained.

Possibilities for the growth of small businesses

All businesses have, depending on their positioning, natural fallacious myths they believe in. These fallacious myths cover weaknesses companies have but are unable to deal with.

That is why chronic diseases of institutions have to be considered as characteristics because they are protected by the fallacious myths they have developed. The universal fallacious myths of small companies are the “justifications”. All what they do is justified because they are what they are.

“Small is beautiful” has been a motto used to justify the incapacity for growth. The size has nothing to do with the revenue. What defines if it is a small company is its critical mass. There can be a leader in a niche market that, having low revenue measured in absolute terms, is not small. Small implies assuming no responsibility in a market.

Small is a business attitude. The justification to avoid growth can be found in the following fable:

A hound dog found a bone and held it tightly in his mouth. He growled and scowled at anyone who attempted to take it away. Off into the woods he went to bury his prize.
When he came to a stream, he trotted over the footbridge and happened to glance into the water. He saw his own reflection. Thinking it was another dog with a bigger bone, he growled and scowled at it. The reflection growled and scowled back.
“I’ll get THAT bone too,” thought the greedy dog, and he snapped his sharp teeth at the image in the water.
Alas, his own big bone fell with a splash, out of sight, the moment he opened his mouth to bite!

But why did the dog made the wrong decision?
Because instead of looking for bones in the market he was viewing his own illusion in the mirror.

Small companies’ growth implies a big change which means leaving things behind, investing to build a critical mass, and then collecting the growth.

Victoria’s Secret and Mc Donald’s are stories that demonstrate that businesses might be intrinsically expansive but the attitude of the owners is what defines if there is a possibility for growth when they are small.

Small businesses disappear naturally in crises or with their founders. They grow when they begin to fight for the bones that are “unavailable” in the market. The man in the mirror kills businesses.

Learning the use of unicist ontology based business objects

The use of Unicist Business Objects, e.g. a Market Lab, doesn’t require managing ontological approaches but understanding them.

Unicist Business Objects are part of the intellectual capital of companies.

Access Diana Belohlavek’s  book on Intellectual Capital at:
http://www.goodwillnetwork.net/deb_ic.shtml

An individual needs to be able to manage the business processes in order to integrate business objects. This requires having the concept of the process, having the operational know how and understanding the process which means having the know why.

Business Objects do not substitute the individual’s responsibility for results; they provide a structured solution that makes her/his activity easier and more profitable. In other fields this is self-evident: an autopilot doesn’t replace a human activity, it sustains the work of a pilot.

This is not the case of robots, for example in a welding line, where human activity is substituted by robots. Unicist Business Objects are like autopilots and not like robots.

The learning of the use of business objects requires having grasped their concept, accessing their “know why” and finally managing their “know how” to be able to replace them in the case their range of operation is exceeded.
