This discovery of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature, initially published in 1998, is based on a triadic functionalist structure, binary actions, and double-dialectical functionality. The ontogenetic intelligence of nature is a foundational, universal intelligence that underlies and regulates the functionality, adaptation, and evolution of all living systems. This ontogenetic intelligence is embedded in life, forming the basis for higher-order intelligence.
The ontogenetic intelligence of nature is the basic intelligence that underlies all living beings: It is the double-dialectical behavioral pattern that differentiates living beings from non-living entities and is based on the existence of a purpose that makes the double dialectic necessary and possible. Living entities are such because they have a purpose.
It was completed by Peter Belohlavek after decades of researching social and artificial adaptive systems and confirmed the unicist ontogenetic logic that explains the functionality, dynamics, and evolution of adaptive entities, whether living beings or artificial entities.
The unicist ontogenetic logic, published in 1984, was the catalyst that allowed for the definition of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature and the logical structure that regulates adaptive functions in nature and human behavior, including artificial adaptive entities created by humans.
The triadic functionalist structure establishes that nature operates through a combination of purpose, active function, and energy conservation function—key concepts in understanding how living beings and artificial systems achieve adaptability and sustainability. By mapping out how binary actions and double-dialectical reasoning influence these processes, the theory provides the framework for decoding the inherent intelligence of nature, making its adaptive systems comprehensible and predictable.
