The Unified Field of the Macro-and Microcosm:
Research Project 2020/2025
Objective: Confirm the Unified Field of the Macro- and Microcosm in Physics, Biology, and Social Behavior. The research will be focused on the confirmation that the unicist theory is the integrator of the macrocosm and the microcosm. The purpose of this theory is to provide a framework to forecast the evolution of adaptive entities considering their restricted and wide contexts.
The functionality of adaptive entities is described and defined by the unicist ontology. A unified field is based on the functionality of the entities that integrate it and does not deal with their intrinsic operation.
The Project includes:
- The confirmation of the unified field management of the macro- and microcosm in physics, biology and social behavior.
- The development of an inference engine, based on Unicist AI, to manage the unified field of social and business evolution.
The integration of the unified field of the macro- and microcosm has been faced in physics to understand the rules that regulate the universe in its oneness.
The unicist theory approached the structure of evolution in order to find the universal rules that regulate evolution both in the macro- and microcosm.
It integrates physics, life sciences, and social sciences. The project has been ongoing since 1/2/2020.
Coordinator of the research: Peter Belohlavek
The Output of the Research
This research project is developed by decentralized research groups that are managed from Houston.
The project is open to the participation of research organizations and groups that are developing basic research on the functionality of the “unified field”.
- The conclusions of this research project will be fully published and open to the community.
- The unicist inference engine will be open as a free license that can be used in the development of systems and applications indicating its use as “Unicist AI”.
Framework
of the Research Project
The Unicist Theory
The unicist theory explains the evolution and dynamics of complex adaptive entities whether they are natural beings or artificial entities. This theory is based on the discovery of the triadic structure of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature.
The Unicist Theory describes the universal structure of the unified field in nature that is applicable to all complex adaptive entities whatever their kind.
The purpose of this theory is to provide a framework to forecast the evolution of adaptive entities considering their restricted and wide contexts.
This theory describes the universal structure of the unified field in nature that is applicable to all complex adaptive entities whatever their kind. It needs to be considered that the unified field has a triadic structure that is homologous to the structure of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature.

The Unicist Ontological Research
It is based on unicist ontological research that not only describes what things are but also their functionality, why they work, and allowed the development of the essential functionality at a macro- and micro-level.
The Unicist Ontology describes the nature of ideas, facts, individuals, and things, regarded from their essential, causative/functional, and operational aspects, erasing the existent barrier between the human arbitrary division of philosophy, science, and action, and defining concepts that integrate them in a unified field.
This development made complex adaptive systems reasonable, understandable, and predictable in those cases in which the structure of the intelligence that underlies their nature has been found. The research began in the field of social, economic, and behavioral sciences. Then it evolved, driven by homologies with confirmed knowledge, towards life sciences and ended with physics to confirm the validity of the unified field.

Unicist Double Dialectical Logic: A Universal Logic
The unicist double dialectical logic is a universal logic to deal with adaptive environments and is the integrator of all logical reasoning patterns. The different logical patterns define different reasoning structures to develop solutions.
The unicist double dialectical logic was developed to manage the unified field of complex adaptive systems and develop double dialectical actions to ensure the generation of value.
It allows for managing the functionality, dynamics, and evolution of adaptive systems and environments.
The Unicist Double Dialectical Logic is an emulation of the Ontogenetic Intelligence of Nature.
It emulates the intelligence and organization of nature and allows an understanding of the root causes and the unified field of processes, evolution, and behavior.

Unicist Artificial Intelligence
The use of Unicist Artificial Intelligence implies the integration of data-based AI and fundamentals-based AI. On the one hand, the categories defined by fundamentals-based AI provide the autonomous universes that are needed to minimize the subjective biases of data-based AI.
On the other hand, data-based AI allows quantifying the specific structure of fundamentals-based AI to establish the aspects of the categories and segments of entities to build solutions.
The unicist artificial intelligence emulates the human reflection process to apprehend the concepts of complex adaptive systems and environments. It uses the rules of the unicist double dialectical logic and allows developing solutions and learning from the pilot tests of their implementation until their functionality has been confirmed.

Scientific Framework of the Unicist Approach
Complex adaptive systems are composed of elements that have bi-univocal relationships and are integrated by conjunctions without the existence of exclusive disjunctions. This approach is managed using the double dialectical logic that allows for dealing with adaptive environments.
The unicist approach to complexity science was developed in order to provide a methodology that is specific to dealing with complex adaptive systems in order to avoid the extension of the use of methodologies that correspond to the field of researching systemic aspects of reality.
This led to the integration of a pragmatic, structural, and functionalist approach to research in the field of complexity sciences which is the framework used in all the research done at The Unicist Research Institute.
The research process integrates an analogical approach to deal with data and a homological approach to deal with fundamentals.
The analogical approach to reality deals with the observable facts and actions that are the consequences of the underlying concepts and fundamentals that define the root causes of their functionality.
This homological approach deals with the concepts of things, which define the ontogenetic maps of the unified fields and establish the rules of their dynamics and evolution. The unicist homological approach includes the analogical approach but not vice versa.

Scientific Evidence of the Unicist Theory
The research on the evidence of the Unicist Theory was mainly focused on the following:
- Confirm the existence and functionality of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature.
- Confirm that the unicist ontology emulates the ontogenetic intelligence of nature and allows defining the structure of complex systems.
- Confirm the functionality of the unicist double dialectical logic in order to go beyond dualism, which hinders apprehending reality as a unified field, in order to be able to emulate the intelligence of nature in mind.
- Confirm that concepts are defined by the ontological structure of an entity and, as Immanuel Kant had already discovered, have a functional meaning that is the framework of any possible action.
- Confirm the functionality of “unicist objects” that are built to emulate the objects in nature like the organs in the human body.
These evidences are:
- The functionality of amino acids
- The functionality of the curing principles in medicine
- The structure of atoms
- The structure of biological entities
- The nervous system
- The similarity between natural and social objects
- Unicist concepts as stem cells
- Thinking processes and the functionality of electricity
- The expansion of the universe

Unicist Epistemology
The Unicist Epistemology is based on the development of logical foundations and empirical justifications to sustain human knowledge. This epistemology is a pragmatic, structural, and functionalist approach to knowledge. It was developed to build reliable knowledge to deal with complex adaptive environments.
Pragmatism deals with the goal of this epistemology, which is to provide reliable knowledge in order to generate added value. At the same time, structuralism is required to integrate the knowledge of an entity and its restricted and wide contexts. Finally, functionalism makes results a core aspect of the validity of knowledge.
Knowledge is such when its use allows individuals to better adapt to an environment. But to be used, such knowledge needs to be stored in the individual’s long-term memory.
The credibility of knowledge depends on having found the fundamentals that integrate the concept that defines the nature of an entity and having the necessary empirical justifications that make the acceptance of knowledge tangible.
The Unicist Epistemology provides, on the one hand, the basics of foundations, which deal with fundamental analysis, and on the other hand, the basics of cause-effect knowledge, which sustain the empirical justifications of knowledge.
