The recent conclusions of the research on the unicist ontology of inflation have a direct impact on long term planning and short term price policies.

Inflation is the anti-concept of the value of currency. Currency, by nature “is” a value contract between its owner and its administrator. Inflation destroys the credibility of this contract.

The research in this field began 25 years ago and was led by Peter Belohlavek at The Unicist Research Institute. The final stages to confirm the hypothesis were based on the inflation in the Real Estate business in the USA and Spain and the use of consumerism as a way to overcome economic and financial crises of different countries.

This knowledge would have allowed avoiding the Internet bubble and the Real Estate / financial crises.

This research shows that in stable cultures inflation is the consequence of a lack of the administration of currency, while in unstable cultures it is also used as an adjustment mechanism to redistribute wealth or avoid social conflicts.

Inflation is driven by emission that diminishes the value of currency. It has to be considered that emission also includes public and private debt.

Inflation is also driven by price changes to increase profits, compensate demand falls, speculation and the anticipation of inflation. At an extreme level, this “axe” generates hyperinflation and/or social chaos.

This discovery closes the circle of macro-microeconomic research. This circle is integrated by the ontologies of currency, growth and inflation. It is applicable to capitalist, non-capitalist and pre-capitalist countries.

At a private level, the knowledge of these ontologies allows developing long term plans and short term price policies.

Peter Belohlavek’s book on “The Nature of Economic Power” is being presented and is included in the Unicist Country Future Research Search Engine.

It has to be considered that the economic power is basically individualistic oriented. In the materialistic world the same “thing” cannot be shared. “Money is in my pocket or it is in your pocket. It cannot be in both at the same time”.

That is why the nature of the materialistic world is the dualism which naturally drives towards fostering activities based on individual initiatives.

This is not necessary at a subsistence level but it is a must if a culture fosters expansion and influence in the environment.

Materialistic activities are naturally driven by individual responsibility.

This means that the institutions that develop materialistic activities need to understand and manage the individual needs of their members in order to be successful.

The economic power of a country is strongly influenced by the individual value of work of the culture. Individuals expand the power of a Nation when it is implicit in the archetype. When it is not the case, the power of a Nation diminishes.

The expansion of societies is driven by the allowances (permissions) of the collective unconscious and contraction is sustained by the collective unconscious mandates. Both aspects are taboos in a society.

2) to consider the facts of the “present”;
3) to infer the possible and probable “future”.

To develop future scenarios, we strongly recommend using both the Unicist Fundamentals technology and the Technical Analytical tools.

Ambiguous language makes human evolution possible

Ambiguity implies having two possible operational meanings within a sole concept. This is implicit in the etymology of the word ambiguity.

These two meanings imply on one hand a meaning that is functional to human internal freedom and on the other hand another meaning that is functional to the need of internal security.

But there is another ambivalence in an ambiguity which is based on its functionality towards expansion or contraction.

This description is an example of ambiguity. Only an ambiguous model can grasp an ambiguous reality.

An ambiguous language is essential when a communication between two individuals is based on mutual responsibility. Ambiguous communication requires biunivocity. Inter-communication is necessary to deal with ambiguity in order to agree on a common operational meaning.

Responsibility avoidance deals with operational language

An operational communication is univocal. Therefore the transmitter is responsible for the functionality of the communication. The responsibility of the receiver is to decode the message, without needing to interpret possible meanings.

Reality is ambiguous when we are dealing with complex problems because the cause-effect relations are biunivocal. In this case ambiguous language is necessary to deal with them in order to assume the responsibility for results. But it has to be considered that efficiency is based on the use of straightforward operational language.

The fallacious myths in communication

Dealing with ambiguity requires knowledge, awareness and responsibility. Managing the nature of businesses implies dealing with their ambiguity.

An enormous stupefying effort to minimize human responsibility has been made by:

a)  Honoring common sense although, at least since Plato, it is known that it is based on rigid experience-based thoughts that might or not be valid for a different reality.

b)  Disqualifying ambiguous communication by projecting multiple meanings on its interpretation to avoid the responsibility of managing complex problems.

That is why it is necessary to have the technical analytical knowledge, a high level of consciousness and having assumed the responsibility to produce a predefined result.

The path towards managing ambiguity is long but interesting.

Learning to deal with ambiguity

Ambiguity management can be learned if an individual knows and accepts her/his level of internal freedom.

A football champ once said:

“The more I train the luckier I am”

Solving riddles is a simple way to approach ambiguity. Riddles have many solutions. In the Far East, riddles are used to develop internal freedom and responsibility.

Japan has a very powerful archetype to sustain its ultimate purpose that is growth within a communitarian environment and a deep sense of loyalty.  Thus reliability is a natural consequence.

Cultures that have a strong drive towards growth cannot accept the defeat of their leaders. The elite of the culture needs to represent the values of the archetype.

The purpose of the maximal strategy of the Japanese culture is the expansion of the community based on the members’ pride for their work and sustained by their collective intelligence as a community or group.

Collective intelligence is in Japan the catalyst of their growth. Therefore there is a need for  integrating the values of the community in order to be able to exert collective intelligence.

Individual intelligence is the entropy inhibitor of the Japanese archetype. It allows individuals to adapt to the conditions of the situation in order to achieve growth.

Loyalty is the final purpose of the minimum strategy. This means that individuals who are not loyal to the structure of the society are considered as aliens.

The integration of aliens implies a very slow process in order to avoid the loss of the roots of the culture.

Strong cultures as Japan respect foreigners based on their values and deeds. Dealing with Japan as an outsider is easy if one accepts that one is a foreigner. Respecting its archetype is the first step to deal with the Japanese community.
