Peter Belohlavek was born in Zilina, Slovakia, in 1944. He is the scientist who developed the epistemological structure of complexity sciences and the Unicist Theory, including its applications to individual, institutional and social evolution. He is the founder of The Unicist Research Institute, a pioneer in complexity sciences since 1976.
This is a space to foster the participation of members of the scientific, academic and business communities in R&D processes. It is a participation space of The Unicist Research Institute that is coordinated by Peter Belohlavek.
Peter Belohlavek is the scientist who created the Unicist Theory. His theory is a paradigm shift in sciences that allowed going beyond empiricism integrating complexity sciences and systemic sciences.
This approach established a structure to manage “complexity sciences” providing an ontological approach to deal with the evolution of complex adaptive systems.

He discovered the intelligence that underlies nature, which gave birth to the Unicist Theory, and the ontointelligence that defines the roots of human intelligence. These discoveries and developments expanded the possibilities to upgrade education, to influence social and institutional evolution and to deal with markets.
The unicist ontological approach expanded the boundaries of existing sciences. The Unicist Theory was used to develop applications in Life Sciences, Future Research, Business, Education, Healthcare and Social and Human behavior. Now complex adaptive systems became manageable and complexity science received its epistemological structure.
