Business Scenarios

Discovery of the Unicist Technology for Trend Building

Trend building is perhaps the most complex process in the business world. It is a paradigmatic example of complexity.

Trend BuildingThe first trend building process developed by our organization occurred in 1981. Since then multiple trends were installed having more or less influential power in the social, political, technological and business fields. The final trend building technology could be confirmed in 2013.

Trend building is a “must” when innovations need to be introduced in a market. Basically, there are two different types of trends:

1)  Natural trends produced in a context

2)  Artificial trends stimulated by human actions

Trends need to have a level of energy to allow using them “as a wave” in order to “surf” on them. Natural waves have a higher level of energy than artificial trends.

There are multiple types of trends:

  1. Produced by new technologies
  2. Produced by the satisfaction of needs
  3. Produced by changes in the gravitational force
  4. Produced by changes in the catalysts
  5. Produced by restrictions of the environment
  6. Produced by the disequilibrium of the functionality of concepts that underlie a given reality
  7. Produced by mutations of conceptual structures
  8. Produced by the influence of changes in homologous fields
  9. Produced by changes in he sub-concepts of a field
  10. Produced by extreme conflicts

Artificial trends are built by installing expectancies based on an authoritative context that provides “gravitational legitimacy” and having the necessary influence to accelerate the process.

The success of a trend building process depends on the capacity of installing the necessary propagation speed that makes this process commercially feasible.

This technology requires using semiotic and semantic objects in order to achieve the necessary propagation speed. Full success will have been achieved when the artificial trend becomes a natural trend.

Unicist Research: Closing the gap between macro and micro behavior

The Unicist Research closed the gap between macro and micro behaviour. The unicist complexity research approach implies dealing with applications while researching, which requires that the lapse of research time be very long in order to achieve fully accurate predicted results before validating a hypothesis.

discoveries-unicist-2013-2014As it has been done every year since its foundation, The Unicist Research Institute synthesized this January the researches that had been finished until that time. After 38 years, 2013/2014, can be considered the year in which the integration of macro and micro behavior could be confirmed.

The gap between the macro and the micro cosmos has been and is still a problem that theoretical physicists are closing. The integration of the field of macro and micro behavior, that has been solved by Peter Belohlavek, is homologous. It allows integrating social behavior with individual behavior, making human complex adaptive systems manageable.

The publication of Conceptual Economics, Conceptual Anthropology and Conceptual Psychology are some of the milestones of this process that included the researches developed in 2013-2014 (see image above).

The European recovery is based on a cultural consolidation

Understanding cultures is an essential matter for anyone who deals with global activities. The research on the unicist ontology of archetypes has just been finished at The Unicist Research Institute and is being used to diagnose the situation of the European Union where different cultures are being integrated.

Country’s CultureThe purpose of a culture can be found in the archetype of a country. This archetype defines the cohabitation and survival taboos that need to be respected to be accepted as a member of the community. This defines the genotype of a country considering it as an entity with artificial life.

The genotype is put in action by the lifestyle of a culture that defines its phenotype. The lifestyle is defined by the cohabitation and survival myths that need to be followed to be considered as a full member of a society. People who do not follow the myths of a culture are considered outsiders.

The energy conservation function is defined by the scenarios of a country which are defined by the social, economic and political scenarios. When this energy conservation function becomes dysfunctional, the system enters into a more or less chaotic state that can be suppressed or palliated for some time but needs to be solved to avoid a cultural change.

Cultural change is triggered by the demands of the lifestyle of a culture, but it only succeeds if the functionality of the social, economic and political scenarios cannot sustain the preexisting archetypes. This is what is happening in Europe; a new utopia with a functional ethic is necessary to recover the European expansion.

The Unicist Approach to Corruption and its Antidotes

This is a synthesis of a research, led by Peter Belohlavek, which began in July 1975 and ended in February 2013 when it was proven that the avoidance of corruption depends on individual behavior and not on the conditions of the environment.

Corruption allows individuals to profit from the environment through illegitimate actions while they disintegrate the system they are part of. It is based on a “parasitarian” complementation that uses value judgments to justify the degradation of the environment they do in order to profit from it.

Corruption is an individual and social addiction that is installed in environments where the participants do not have the necessary critical mass to influence the environment.

Corrupt environments need that their dominant ethics is intentions driven, their justice does not cover the needs of equal opportunities and that the private and public actions of individuals are not transparent.

Corruption may occur in any human action field. It can be included in the emotional, economic, social and political aspects of human behavior. The most known aspects deal with economic and power corruption.

The final purpose is to profit from the environment. To obtain this benefit corrupts adopt four types of actions: sabotage, blackmailing, bribing and defrauding. As it is an addiction, corrupts build a parallel reality in which corruption is a natural and accepted behavior.

Psychopathic manipulation and psychopathic leadership are the natural “tools” corrupts use to develop their actions when they deal with non-corrupt participants of an environment.

Corruption is illegal or socially sanctioned in non-corrupt environments. In corrupt environments corruption is a fallacious myth that covers the shared weaknesses of the members. Those who do not accept it are automatically excluded from the groups.

The antidote for corruption, at an individual level, is the critical mass individuals or their actions have to influence the environment.

Social corruption antidotes require the existence of transparency, functional and not intentional ethics and the existence of equality of opportunities for the members.

But the conclusion of the research was that the responsibility for corruption avoidance is a personal decision.

Understanding the evolution of Germany

The fundamentals of the German Archetype drive the evolution of the culture. Understanding this case you will be able to see the Unicist Theory of Evolution applied to a real case.

Consider that the archetypes of countries drive the automatisms of cultures. This implies they are very difficult to be apprehended. This effort is only worthwhile if you are really interested in the German culture.

The Unicist Archetype of Japan

Japan has a very powerful archetype to sustain its ultimate purpose that is growth within a communitarian environment and a deep sense of loyalty.  Thus reliability is a natural consequence.

To understand the Japanese archetype we recommend listening to the lecture you find at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8vxkTozAdE

Cultures that have a strong drive towards growth cannot accept the defeat of their leaders. The elite of the culture needs to represent the values of the archetype.

The purpose of the maximal strategy of the Japanese culture is the expansion of the community based on the members’ pride for their work and sustained by their collective intelligence as a community or group.

Collective intelligence is in Japan the catalyst of their growth. Therefore there is a need for  integrating the values of the community in order to be able to exert collective intelligence.

Individual intelligence is the entropy inhibitor of the Japanese archetype. It allows individuals to adapt to the conditions of the situation in order to achieve growth.

Loyalty is the final purpose of the minimum strategy. This means that individuals who are not loyal to the structure of the society are considered as aliens.

The integration of aliens implies a very slow process in order to avoid the loss of the roots of the culture.

Strong cultures as Japan respect foreigners based on their values and deeds. Dealing with Japan as an outsider is easy if one accepts that one is a foreigner. Respecting its archetype is the first step to deal with the Japanese community.

Unicist thinking to manage adaptive systems

Unicist thinking is the process to apprehend, comprehend and influence adaptive systems and complex realities. Its double dialectical structure enables the individual to apprehend the dynamic of a reality.

Unicist thinking emulates the structure of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature in order to be able to deal with it.

It is basic to apprehend the dynamic of reality. It is the necessary intelligence to develop forecasts and planning.

Thus individuals can approach evolution and develop strategies. Unicist thinking is a conscious approach to reality far beyond automatic intuitive approaches

It is necessary to develop strategies. Strategies are necessarily complex because the boundaries of a reality are necessarily open.

Therefore a strategy building process requires, among other tools, the use of unicist thinking to be able to model reality.

Using unicist thinking reality becomes reasonable, comprehensible and provable for those who are involved in the strategy building process

The ontogenesis of unicist thinking

Extrinsic concepts are those deposited by humans on their deeds and on the elements of nature they use.

The understanding of a reality begins with the discovery of its purpose. After the purpose has been approached it is possible to build the first dialectic pair.

The verbal function is the antithesis that puts the purpose into action while its implicit utopia tries to change it. If there wouldn’t exist an entropy inhibiting element, this situation would evolve into a dysfunctional result regarding the original purpose.

The function of the first dialectic pair, the second dialectic is born. The purpose is sustained by the energy conservation function.

It is a complementary element that limits the effects of the verbal function to secure the maintenance of the objectives implicit in the purpose.

The Unicist Ontogenetic Intelligence of Nature

Ontogenetic intelligence is defined by two principles of nature:

1)      The action principle that sustains growth and evolution. It is driven by expansion.

2)      The energy conservation principle, which sustains survival and avoids involution. It is driven by contraction.

In the field of human behavior, the action principle gives birth to the verbal function, which makes the fulfillment of purposes possible. The entropy produced by action produces changes in the goal of purposes.

To avoid changes and sustain the purpose, the energy conservation principle produces a homeostasis. The homeostatic value complements the purpose and ensures that action occurs within the established limits.

But the consequence of this interaction is never deterministic. The change produced by the interaction of the living being with the environment produces evolution or involution.

In nature, both principles sustain the evolution of living beings. Their effects can be observed in bacteria, viruses, cells, and other living beings.

At a more operational level, besides the expansion and contraction principles, there are functions that provide security and functions that provide freedom to living beings. These functions are implicit in the upper level functions (expansion – contraction).

Ontogenetic intelligence provides the basic rules to adapt to an environment. It sustains the living being’s unstable equilibrium. When, for any reasons, the ontogenetic intelligence is inhibited, the living being loses its equilibrium and its survival is endangered.

These principles are active in individual beings and in the live environment they are part of.

Natural Laws of Societies: The Unicist Standard in Strategy

All the countries have emergent, developed and underdeveloped aspects. The dominant niche defines the level of development of a country.

Peter Belohlavek’s e-book provides the natural laws of business strategy. We strongly recommend downloading and printing this book in order to use it as a bedside book until you manage the natural laws of business strategy.

It will shift your business life.

Some of the laws follow as an example:

  1. Underdeveloped countries are such because they did not have the strength, power or hard elements to adapt dynamically to the developed world.
  2. Seen from the underdeveloped standpoint others are responsible for one’s underdevelopment, and from a developed standpoint it is always one’s responsibility.
  3. The evolution differs depending if a country is underdeveloped or developed. The main difference is that underdeveloped countries evolution is slower and interrupted by mutually annulling breakthroughs.
  4. Seen from the developed point of view the commercial competitive strategy in underdeveloped countries is non-equilibrated.
  5. …..
