Evolution

Discovery that complementation and supplementation rule nature

The research on adaptive systems drove to the conclusion that nature has only two types of relationships: complementation and supplementation. The use of a unicist double dialectical thinking approach is necessary to apprehend them.

The elements that are part of an entity in nature are integrated by supplementary and complementary relationships. There exist no other types of relationships in nature.

These relationships can be perfect or imperfect. When they are perfect the entity evolves in a stable way, when they are imperfect they generate a high level of entropy.

The purpose, the conservation function and the active function of a concept are integrated by logical rules which sustain their unity.

While the purpose and the active function are sustained by the supplementation law, the purpose and the conservation function are integrated by the complementation law.

Homology between Unicist Concepts and Stem Cells

The function of stem cells in the human body is homologous to the function of concepts in the field of human actions. While stem cells can give rise to specialized cells and thus organs, essential concepts allow building unicist objects.

Essential ConceptUnicist objects are adaptive systems that have a concept and generate added value within a quality assurance system to fulfill the purpose of the concept. Unicist objects are interdependent entities that integrate a complex adaptive system.

The knowledge of the essential concepts is basic to build unicist objects because these objects are the materialization of a concept.

Under certain conditions, organs can be transplanted and this is also the case of unicist objects that can be replicated as long as they belong to homologous and analogous entities.

Objects are inserted into processes to produce specific results. The same way stem cells have the potential capacity to give birth to human organs, concepts can give birth to objects to produce results.

The knowledge of the Unicist Theory allows using a double dialectical approach to reality to emulate the organization of nature using an object driven organization.

Nature is organized by objects which can be observed in the ecosystem. The human body is an example of the organization of nature, where organs are homologous to unicist objects. That is why the transplantation of organs became possible.

While the structure of the different organs of the body derives from the stem cells, the unicist objects derive from the essential function of an entity that is defined by its concept.

Properties of Stem Cells and Concepts

Stem Cells

Concepts

They are unspecialized They are universal
They are capable of self-renewal They are timeless
They can give rise to specialized cells They allow building operational functions

Thus, stem cells and concepts are homologous. While essential concepts allow the construction of objects to insert into human adaptive processes, stem cells allow the building of organs that work as unicist objects to sustain the functionality of a complex adaptive system such as the human body.

Evolution is Purpose Driven: The Discovery of the Ontogenetic Intelligence of Nature

Darwins finchesThis research began in 1976 with the hypothesis that in nature there are mutations that are random but others that are driven by a purpose.

If this hypothesis was confirmed and there were a purpose, Peter Belohlavek concluded that there would have to be an intelligence that defined such purpose.

For this reason, Belohlavek researched on the essential structure implicit in nature’s intelligence to be able to predict and exert influence on the evolution of complex adaptive systems when possible.

Charles Darwin demonstrated the adaptation process of species that, having the same structural constitution, developed adaptive changes to live in a certain environment.

The hypothesis of Belohlavek’s research was that these changes were driven by an intelligence that underlies nature.

The Unified field of the Ontogenetic Intelligence of NatureHe concluded that each living creature’s evolution is ruled by its ontogenetic intelligence, that defines it as unique both in its species and individuality and that the essential structure of this intelligence is integrated by a purpose, an active principle (entropic function) and an energy conservation principle.

The research was focused on the unified field of living beings.

The basic assumption that sustains this development is that the evolution of living beings, their behaviors, actions and deeds are driven by the same logical structural framework.

This implies that there is an intelligence that defines the structural behavior of any entity that integrates this framework that allows predicting the behavior of all the entities where this intelligence is known.

The Unicist Approach to Corruption and its Antidotes

This is a synthesis of a research, led by Peter Belohlavek, which began in July 1975 and ended in February 2013 when it was proven that the avoidance of corruption depends on individual behavior and not on the conditions of the environment.

Corruption allows individuals to profit from the environment through illegitimate actions while they disintegrate the system they are part of. It is based on a “parasitarian” complementation that uses value judgments to justify the degradation of the environment they do in order to profit from it.

Corruption is an individual and social addiction that is installed in environments where the participants do not have the necessary critical mass to influence the environment.

Corrupt environments need that their dominant ethics is intentions driven, their justice does not cover the needs of equal opportunities and that the private and public actions of individuals are not transparent.

Corruption may occur in any human action field. It can be included in the emotional, economic, social and political aspects of human behavior. The most known aspects deal with economic and power corruption.

The final purpose is to profit from the environment. To obtain this benefit corrupts adopt four types of actions: sabotage, blackmailing, bribing and defrauding. As it is an addiction, corrupts build a parallel reality in which corruption is a natural and accepted behavior.

Psychopathic manipulation and psychopathic leadership are the natural “tools” corrupts use to develop their actions when they deal with non-corrupt participants of an environment.

Corruption is illegal or socially sanctioned in non-corrupt environments. In corrupt environments corruption is a fallacious myth that covers the shared weaknesses of the members. Those who do not accept it are automatically excluded from the groups.

The antidote for corruption, at an individual level, is the critical mass individuals or their actions have to influence the environment.

Social corruption antidotes require the existence of transparency, functional and not intentional ethics and the existence of equality of opportunities for the members.

But the conclusion of the research was that the responsibility for corruption avoidance is a personal decision.

The Unicist Theory of Evolution and its applications

The Unicist Theory of Evolution of Peter Belohlavek was a theory developed to deal with the adaptive aspects of reality. Its purpose was not to find the origin of species. It was the finding of the laws of evolution in order to predict human adaptive systems to influence them.

The Unicist Theory of Evolution widely exceeded the original purposes established and can be now considered as the theory that allows dealing with the evolution of living beings if it is possible to apprehend their structure.

This established a new starting point which widened the possibilities of the research in life-sciences and the behavior of individuals, institutions and cultures.

The first stage of the discovery of the Unicist Theory of Evolution happened in 1985 and since then there were new aspects discovered based on the application of this theory in multiple fields that begin with life-sciences and end with social sciences.

Considering that in the field of complex adaptive systems there is no possibility to develop artificial experiences but making real applications to research, this theory was validated through real applications that began in 1985.

Unicist Anthropology: a breakthrough by Peter Belohlavek

Unicist Anthropology is the complexity scientific approach to human behavior and the structural analysis of individuals’ deeds in order to forecast their evolution.

This R&D e-book on Unicist Anthropology by Peter Belohlavek has been published and is included in the Unicist Standard – Country Future Research Search Engine.

It surveys not only the evolution of Man as a species and as an individual but also the evolution of his institutions. It studies Man, his actions and his transcendence as “a unified field”.

Its main tool is the application of the Unicist Theory of Evolution, the Unicist Logic, and the laws of evolution of individuals, institutions and culture.

It studies the most intrinsic and extrinsic concepts that operate as “drivers” of cultures and individuals to use them as a basis for the causal-conceptual description of a reality in order to forecast it.

Unicist Anthropology conceptually structures taboos, myths and utopias that influence man’s actions.

Its main objective is to forecast the behavior of individuals, institutions and cultures so as to basically influence upon its evolution.

This book honors Claude Lévi-Strauss, Carl Jung, Viktor Frankl and Joseph Campbell for their contribution to human evolution.

Using the unicist standard to deal with adaptive systems

The unicist standard deals with reality considered as a unified field. The unified field is  defined by the extrinsic and intrinsic concepts that have been discovered.

These unicist concepts are the unicist ontology that defines and regulates the nature of the entity that is being dealt with.

This unified field is defined by a credibility zone when we deal with extrinsic concepts and by a functionality zone when dealing with intrinsic concepts.

Every being can be described by the three principles and functions that define it. It has a purpose, an action principle and an energy conservation principle.

These three elements are integrated in its oneness considering a specific functionality in the environment. Every reality, considered from a functional point of view, has a unique essential structure.

Concepts behave as strange attractors

Behavior oscillates, with higher or lower frequency, between expansion and contraction, and at the same time between security and freedom.

This double oscillation makes concepts behave as strange attractors. When a given behavior moves towards freedom, it will return seeking for security.

The amplitude or importance of the qualitative and quantitative modification does not necessarily determine the amplitude or importance of the next move.

The same phenomenon happens when moving towards expansion or contraction.

Therefore within the credibility zone behavior appears as chaotic, but following the patterns of the behavior of strange attractors.

Possibilities define the existence of a functionality/credibility zone while probabilities define the behavior within the functionality/credibility zone.

In intrinsic concepts, possibilities define the existence of a functionality zone but probabilities define the behavior within such zone.

In extrinsic concepts, possibilities define the existence of a credibility zone but probabilities define the behavior within such zone.

The credibility or functionality zone behaves like a “micro-cosmos”. Its functionality is compatible and homologous to what is known as quantum mechanics.

The Unicist Theory of Evolution and Generational Evolution

How does generational evolution work? Why do many adolescents need addictions? Which is the environment for evolution or involution?

Successors need to overcome their parents. That is the golden rule for social and individual evolution. This implies that the evolution of the next generation depends on its capacity to build upon what already exists.

Metaphorically it can be said that in evolutionary cultures the roof of the parents is the floor of their children. In involutionary cultures the roof of the children is the floor of their parents.

To build upon the existing establishment it is necessary that we all improve the implicit weaknesses of what we have inherited. Extreme competition with the inherited establishment drives to a never ending story of frustration and entropy.

These are some conclusions of the research on Generational Evolution in Societies developed at The Unicist Research Institute. The research began in 1980 with the objective to find explanations to social evolution and to the worldwide expansion of addictions.

The reading of Diana Belohlavek’s book on Talent development is strongly recommended.

When living in parallel realities becomes a need

Parallel realities become a need when individuals cannot deal with their own evolution.

Parallel realities are imaginary situations installed beyond the real world that are built upon fallacious beliefs or needs.

Fallacies are functional to humans. Individual fallacies reduce personal energy consumption, and fallacious utopias ensure the perception that something useful will be done.

While utopias function as action drivers, fallacious utopias function as empty “action promises”. Fundamentalism, considered as an objective characteristic an individual needs to survive, requires “living” in a parallel world to avoid self-perception.

To build this parallel world individuals use their projection capacity to deposit on the environment what they need to perceive in order to feel comfortable.

Addictions, the natural response to hopelessness

Addictions are a natural response to an uncertain environment in which a person feels hopeless, impotent and without identity.

When these conditions are given, individuals enter the shelter of addictions.

Addictions have a secondary benefit to help people to deal with hate, anxiety, illusions and guilt.

Addictions help to deal with these self-destructive feeling in a paradoxical way. While the individual is installed in the parallel world he feels fulfilled, but, after he returns to the real world, he feels worse than before and the need for addictive stimuli rises.

Addictions are infinite. The more unbalanced an individual is, the “heavier” the addictions he adopts.

Considering the level of self-destruction or destruction four segments can be characterized:
1)    Pleasure addictions: providing instants of extreme pleasure.
2)    Rational/spiritual addictions: providing sensation of absolute empowerment.
3)    Suicidal addictions: providing the power of “dancing” beyond human limits.
4)    Terrorist addictions: providing the power of feeling God.

Liberation from guilt: A business as old as humanity

Individuals feel guilty if they cannot overcome what they have inherited.

Guilt corrodes humans’ physical, psychological and spiritual health. Therefore “the liberation of guilt” has been a business that existed since mankind exists. It has been  run from witchdoctors to psychologists.

Psychology opened a new perspective to human health. But it also settled the groundings of extreme individualism. The western hemisphere jumped from a sanctification of parents to blaming them for all the problems individuals have.

The problem of leading cultures and surviving cultures

The problem of the new generations of leading cultures is naturally the feeling of inferiority complexes to overcome the existing culture if they are in a leading environment.

Individuals have two alternatives: build upon the existing establishment or compete with it. Competition drives adolescents to guilt and the response requires needing to hate the situation and the individuals involved in it.

The paradox is that building upon an existing environment is also a competition. Building upon an establishment implies modifying the structure of the implicit weaknesses of a culture. This is something feasible for the next generation unless it was educated in an individualistic environment.

It has to be considered that individualism is the most degraded state of a culture. It implies that the interests of individuals prevail over the interests of the group.

A culture involves when individualism prevails. Surviving cultures include necessarily a dominant individualism. This is not the case of subsistent cultures where the group prevails over individuals. Surviving cultures produce survivors who necessarily are multi-addictive and need to behave as fundamentalists.

Evolution implies paying prices

Accepting the validity of the establishment is a condition for evolution.

Over-adaptation to the establishment implies its sanctification, and drives to the avoidance of the responsibility of improving the environment.

Cultures that foster rebel individualistic behaviors necessarily generate involution. Both over-adaptation and individualistic rebellion drive to involution.

Evolution implies competing with the establishment improving what has been received in order to ensure evolution and create an own place in order to satisfy the personal needs.

The first part, the improvement of what has been received is a work with a social responsibility, the second part deals with the ego of the person who has assumed the responsibility.

A culture is in involution if individuals begin with their own egocentric desires. In both extremes, leading cultures and surviving cultures, addictions of any kind become a natural response.

Guilt liberators produce paradoxical results when they sustain their clients by “insufflating air” into their clients’ ego.

It is up to you. The prices to be paid are never low. You must believe in your capacity and see the implicit weaknesses of what you inherited.
